Iron Hill Baptist Church
Project Joel 1:14
A church united in prayer. A church seeking God through fasting.
Project Joel 1:14 is a church-wide prayer and fasting ministry designed to ensure that every day someone from our church family is intentionally seeking God through prayer and fasting. Prayer requests shared inside the ministry allow our church family to pray together while respecting privacy.
Biblical Inspiration
“Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD.”
— Joel 1:14 (KJV)
How the Ministry Works
Built with sacred reverence, mathematical fairness, and complete personal privacy.
100% Daily Fasting Coverage
Every day of the week has at least one church member committed in prayer and fasting for our church and community.
Strict Personal Privacy
Fasting assignments are strictly private. You can only see your own assigned day; no public rosters or names are ever exposed.
Anonymous Praying Hands
Indicate with one tap that you are praying for a brother or sister. The total tally encourages them while keeping your identity confidential.
Fair, Thoughtful Rotation
Our scheduling engine prevents consecutive fasting days, respects member schedules, and fairly balances assignments over time.
A quiet, shared discipline
Your fasting days, preferences, and prayer commitments stay private. What the church sees is simply that it is being prayed for and covered.
